The Waterloo Renaissance Faire, *IowaFaire*
for Maps and Travel Information

Located in the heart of Iowa, Waterloo is surrounded by fields of farmland and lush forests, but it is also close to urban areas. The population of Waterloo/Cedar Falls is about 85,000;
it has its own airport, and is near several major highways. The IowaFaire 2002 is at Cedar River Park, at the corner of Burton Ave. and Park Rd. It's just a stone's throw from downtown Waterloo and the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Des Moines is only 2-3 hours away by car, Minneapolis is 5-6 hours away, and Chicago is 6-7 hours away.
(City mileage is based on MapQuests' directions. Yours may be less.)

Hotel accomodations are available at the Holiday Inn, the Best Western and
other respectable Inns. Restaurants are both locally and nationally owned.
Gas prices are about average for the Midwest.
